LIFT is free. We firmly believe all women should have access to support, advice and networking in the industry, irrespective of financial barriers.
LIFT largely operates as a Facebook group, which is private and closed. Once you have joined the Facebook group, you are a member of LIFT.
If you wish to be part of LIFT, you can join us on Facebook, through one of two ways:
REFERRALS
If you know an existing member of LIFT, they can add you to the LIFT Facebook group. If you are Facebook friends then can add you directly. Otherwise they can send you a link from the group.
If you have any difficulties with the above, please contact us.

What our members say…
‘LIFT’s platform and social events provided access to opportunities I could never have comprehended and through them I was able to transition into film from TV, landing my dream job assisting Mike Leigh and Georgina Lowe. I owe LIFT my career.’
Sally Lynn - Director’s Assistant - THIN MAN FILMS
‘Our industry is built on networks and the LIFT community is a very special one. I feel so grateful to be part of this brilliant group of proactive and generous women of all levels and disciplines, who continually help equip, support and champion one another.’
Savannah James-Bayly - Head of Production - SLY FOX PRODUCTIONS
“LIFT is the best industry group I'm a part of. It has the best jobs, best advice and I've found amazing crew, collaborators (currently producing a short with all key crew found through LIFT!) and even a flatmate through it. I recommend it to all the women I meet in the industry.”
Katie Sinclair - Development Executive - BLUEPRINT PICTURES
“One of the great and unique things about the group is that it's one of the few places where in-house roles are advertised, especially paid internships. If we want to make this industry better we need to make those roles more accessible to people who are not straight, white, Oxbridge educated, cis men which I honestly do think that this page is helping to do.”
